BASTILLE & THE MARAIS

The Carmagnole and the canons have been silent in Bastille for a long time, but this district has remained one of the most dynamic parts of the capital! Just up the road, there are several art galleries and trendy boutiques, which are a signature sign of the Marais, a historical district that is without doubt the best preserved of Paris. The district is full to the brim with contemporary art galleries and numerous museums such as the Museum of Jewish Art & History or Centre Pompidou. There are many famous places to go out and enjoy everything from classical theatre to jazz, comedy, and rock. Here, we bring you art and amusement all day and night.

PLACE DES VOSGES

The Place des Vosges was designed by Louis Métezeau and named in honor of the Vosges department, the first to pay taxes during the French Revolution and the first to send national volunteers to defend the country in danger. It covers an area of 17,780 m2, surrounded by numerous art galleries, cafés, bars and restaurants, and is a 5-minute walk from Villa Beaumarchais.

SAINT-PAUL

The space between the two streets, planted with two rows of trees, has existed since Baron Haussmann's 1854 extension of Rue de Rivoli from the former Place du Marché Saint-Jean to Rue Saint-Antoine. In the center, and an 8-minute walk from Villa Beaumarchais, the Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis church or parish is a Roman Catholic place of worship with an ornamental façade built by the Jesuits in the 17th century.
