You will have the opportunity to see it by strolling around the Villa Beaumarchais. First, go to the Place des Vosges located 500 meters away from our hotel in the Marais. It houses the Maison Victor Hugo. At the corner of the rue des Francs Bourgeois, stands the Carnavalet Museum which is really worth visiting! Tracing the history of the City of Light, it is now being renovated, and should reopen next year. Culture lovers will easily be comforted by both Picasso Museum and the Museum of Art and History of Judaism. During a walk in this area, you can discover the charm of the Sainte-Merri church, and a monument considered as a gothic art jewel : the Sainte Chapelle.
Partying or shopping
The historical district of the Marais is also a dynamic neighborhood. The famous rue des Rosiers is lined with many shops, including second handed ready-to-wear boutiques that have the advantage of being open on Sundays. Shopping enthusiasts can look to other places such as the BHV Marais in the no less famous Rue de Rivoli.
